The Cornerstone Bistro 2 has been involved in many community events and charities. Every year the Cornerstone Bistro 2 is involved with a charity Event for The First Tee Foundation. The First Tee is a charity to allow under privileged children the chance at golf and much much more. It pays for each child to attend a series of classes with a personal golf teacher. To date, The Cornerstone Bistro 2 has donated over $20,000 to the Charity. Since the beginning of 2006 Chef "Z" and the Cornerstone Bistro umbrella has been committed to the Boys 7 Girls Club of St. Lucie County. Monetarily or personally, we believe int he future of the children is the best way to give back. The progress of the Treasure Coast and this local community is very important to the future of the Cornerstone Bistro; so we donate and promote both sides of the political spectrum, locally, state wide and federal. Being a proud restaurant, we were honored to do the martin county/Stuart 100th anniversary. not being located in Martin County, this was a huge privileged.
The Cornerstone Bistro 2 is located in Veranda Falls Shopping Plaza, across from Tesorro Country Club. Our Design and hip ambiance has a welcoming "Big City" style and sophistication with a well thought out menu that is reasonable and non-threatening. The menu has pleasing aspects of classic American Steakhouse cuisine with an array of items that will please most appetites. From pasta to seafood or Black Angus Prime steaks, every item is fresh and has the best quality you would expect from a top quality restaurant.
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Chef "Z" moved to South Florida in 1972. Since the time he was a young boy he was always intrigued with food and the equipment in the kitchen as he would be right there when his father and grandfather were cooking. His desire to open his own restaurant concept became a reality. In bringing his own touches to life, he designed, built and was the creative force in the 4,200 square foot neighborhood bistro where the open kitchen concept is a true sight to see. It's like the Food Network without the cameras. Chef "Z"'s restaurant and creative menu was a truly needed concept, what he calls Port St. Lucie meets South Beach where they bring a touch of class and sophistication to the up and coming area of Veranda Falls in Port St. Lucie, FL. From the eyes opening wine display and full liquor bar he designed and built, to the overall comfort zone each table has to offer and the private dining room for up to 12 guests, right down to the custom furniture you sit on inside and outside. He has also created a living room atmosphere around the fire pits overlooking the waterfalls. Chef "Z" has creativity and style which really shines in this one of a kind Bistro.
